Readytotapnsing took the $50,000 Martin Deerline Juvenile S. on July 29 to give the 2-year-old son of Tapiture his first lifetime victory in what was just his second career start.
Readytotapnsing was in an early duel with Cuban Cobra, then as they straightened for the stretch run, kicked clear of his foe and went on to win the 5 ½-furlong contest by 2 ½-lengths.
The winner was bred by Ray Horn and is owned by Adam Ference and Bill Dory. The dark bay’s first and second dams were both unraced, while is his third dam is Dispute, the millionaire winner of the Kentucky Oaks (G1) and Ashland S. (G1). Dispute is a sister to Grade 1 winners Adjudicating and Time for a Change.
Tapiture, who leads the 2022 Third-Crop sire list by winners and wins, has had a terrific July with three stakes winners and a pair of stakes-placed horses.
