Crystal Visions turned in a very game effort in the $150,000 Silver Creek S. Saturday afternoon at Woodbine, determinedly holding off both Dazzling Move and Hurricane Clair to give the 4-year-old Bee Jersey filly her first stakes win.
Bee Jersey, who stood the 2026 for $5,000 S&N, is the sire of 11 lifetime stakes winners and has had five stakes horses to date this year.
Breaking from the inside post in the field of six, Crystal Visions took up a position along the fence, tracking in third behind Dazzling Move and Hurricane Clair. After holding her spot for six furlongs, the eventual winner moved off the fence to confront Dazzling Move. The pacesetter fought on, but Crystal Visions got the better of her in the final furlong to win by three-quarters of a length.
Owned by Brent McLellan and Stuart Simon (the latter also her trainer), Crystal Visions is 3-6-3 in 18 starts and has earned $269,260. She was bred in Canada by Charles Fipke and hails from the family of graded stakes winners Classic Elegance and Chorwon.
