Tapiture’s latest winner Incorruptible marked his third winner of the week and tied him for the top spot on the 2019 First-Crop sire list.
Incorruptible, who was making his debut in a six-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-olds at Fair Grounds on Nov. 29, came from last in the field of seven juveniles to win by a half-length while covering the distance in 1:10.73.
Incorruptible is owned by Alex and JoAnn Lieblong and was bred in Kentucky by Robert Clements.
Tapiture’s recent successes include Nov. 28 maiden special weight winner Vacherie Girl, Churchill Downs allowance winner Axiomo and stakes-placed Gone Glimmering at Delta Downs. Tapiture now has 23 First-Crop winners, which ties him with American Phaorah.
