Dialed In’s Mugaritz wins first stakes by 6 1/2-lengths

Mugaritz ran his winning streak to four straight with a victory in the $50,000 Bull Dog H. on Oct. 13, making him Dialed In’s 16th stakes horse of 2019.

Dialed In is a top-five Fourth-Crop sire in several categories this year, including black type winners, black type horses and graded stakes horses.

Mugaritz, who ran second in last year’s California Derby, had three allowance wins before Sunday, went right to the front in the nine furlong Bull Dog. Up by about 1 1/2-lengths through six furlongs, he pulled away in the final half-mile to win going away.

Mugaritz is now 6-1-0 in 11 starts for Mercardo Alejandro, with earnings of $136.625. He was bred in Kentucky by Sean and Barbara Speck.
