Bullseye Beauty’s strong stretch run earned the 3-year-old daughter of Dialed In her first stakes win in the $75,000 Lady Erie S. Aug. 16 at Presque Isle Downs.
The victory comes just a day after Super Stock won the $200,000 Ellis Park Derby. Dialed In now has 10 stakes horses and more than $5.1 million in progeny earnings this year.
Bullseye Beauty came from several lengths off the pace at the top of the stretch to win Monday’s six-furlong contest. With no other option available, she came four-wide into the stretch and rolled by the field to win by 2 1/4-lengths in an excellent 1:08.76, less than a second off the track record.
The bay filly, owned and bred by Neil Jones, is 3-1-0 in six starts and has earned $136,617. Her unraced dam Figure of Beauty is a half-sister to Group 1 winner and English Highweight Millenary (GB) and group stakes winner Head in the Clouds (IRE).
