Whatchatalkinabout drew the far outside post in the field of 14 for Saturday’s $2 million Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) as the 4-year-old son of Dialed In seeks his first Grade 1 victory.
The dark bay, who won the John Nerud S. (G3) this spring at Aqueduct with one of the highest speed figures of 2025, has finished worse than third just once in 10 lifetime starts. He has earned $388,853 for owner Ice Wine Stable.
Trained by Wesley Ward, Whatchatalkinabout was most recently a close third in the Phoenix S. (G2) at Keeneland. Since that Oct. 3 race, he has recorded one bullet workout in preparation for Saturday’s six-furlong dash.
The Sprint is race 6 at 4:21 pm ET.
Whatchatalkinabout was bred in Kentucky by Newtown Anner Stud and is one of Dialed In’s six stakes winners in 2025. Dialed In will stand in 2026 for $10,000 S&N.
