Tapiture, the leading Fourth-Crop sire of winners, got his 12th stakes horse of the year on Aug. 22 when Remain Anonymous was a 5 ¾-length winner of the $100,000 Dr. Teresa Garofalo Memorial S. at Parx (WATCH RACE).

In her only prior stakes start, the 5-year-old finished second in the 2020 Malvern Rose S. Tuesday’s win upped her record to 5-9-3 from 22 starts and earnings to $305,315 for owner Sanford Goldfarb.

Remain Anonymous was last of seven after the first quarter-mile, then kicked into high gear on the turn, circling the field and taking the lead in upper stretch. From there, she strode clear with powerful strides to win going away in 1:10.93 on a fast track.

The winner was bred by Horseshoe Valley Equine Center. Her dam Secret Witness, who has produced a half-dozen winners, is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Trailthefox.
