Bee Jersey’s first-crop filly Infinite Diamond joined the ranks of winners in auspicious fashion on Sept. 16, defeating a maiden special weight field at Gulfstream Park by 14 ½ lengths.

Ridden by Romero Maragh for owner Diamond 100 Racing Club and trainer Patrick Biancone, Infinite Diamond set the pace along the rail early in the one-mile affair. The chestnut filly kicked clear of her foes around the far turn, widened her advantage through the lane, and won as she pleased in 1:36.82.

Produced from the unraced More Than Ready mare Ready for Gold, Infinite Diamond descends from a strong female. Her second dam, Sheba Gold (IRE), by Sadler’s Wells, is a full sister to Grade 1 winner and champion Perfect Soul (IRE). Bred in Kentucky by Charles Fipke, Infinite Diamond was acquired by Biancone, as agent, for $120,000 at this year’s OBS Spring Sale.
