Two Seven O tops Dialed In exacta in Dade Park Dash

Two Seven O and Trouble Calling gave Dialed In a 1-2 finish in the $175,000 Dade Park Dash on Independence Day at Ellis Park. The victory marked the second straight stakes win, and fifth overall victory for Two Seven O.

The pair of 3-year-olds topped a terrific week for Dialed In that began last Sunday when the 2-year-old colt Blessed Flyer won the Bashford Manor S. at Churchill Downs.

Two Seven O, in the outside post in the field of seven, broke on top, but relinquished the lead to Capovivo, who sprinted away to a six-length advantage in the first quarter-mile. The torrid early fractions of :21.18 and :43.82 were too much for Capovivio, and Two Seven O took full advantage, running past the pacesetter in midstretch and comfortably holding off Trouble Calling to win the 5 ½-furlong turf sprint by two lengths.

Two Seven O is owned by Aaron & Victoria Haberman and First Rodeo Racing. The winner is now 5-1-0 in seven starts and has earned $330,065. The bay sophomore was bred in Kentucky by John D. Stuart & Peter C. Bance.
