Services

• Boarding:
  Situated on roughly 1000 acres, Darby Dan provides boarding services for racing, breeding, quarantine and sales-oriented clients. All horses are cared for by professional staff and given the highest quality care. On occasion, we have openings.
  
  
• Quarantine:
  A growing part of our business, we have provided quarantine services for horses of all ages for many years. We work closely with all the major companies – IRT, Horse America, and Mersant – and are experienced with the protocols for Asia, Europe, and South America.  Horses in quarantine are inspected every day, and each client receives a report on their horse at the beginning, mid-term, and end of the period.

• Bloodstock:
  Darby Dan Bloodstock assists clients with every need, including private acquisition and sales, mating analysis and advice, purchase of stallion seasons, and management of Thoroughbred investments.
  
  
• Sales:
  Darby Dan consigns weanlings, yearlings and breeding stock to all major Kentucky sales, as well as select yearlings at Saratoga. Visit our sales page for upcoming consignments and sales graduates.
  
  
• Sales Prep:
  In conjunction with our sales division, the farm provides outstanding sales preparation for weanlings, yearlings and breeding stock. Experienced staff looks after your horses with the utmost of care, to ensure the best price possible at auction. Generally, any sale horses arrive 60 days prior to sale in order to be at their peak when they go through the ring.
