Since the inception of Darby Dan, buyers from all corners of the nation and furthermore the globe have returned to our consignment year after year. With a history of presenting thoroughbreds destined for distinction at all financial levels. Buyers continue to return with confidence at all sales with the aspiration of creating their own history.
In 2014, Darby Dan Sales added a banner year to its long and storied history. At the prestigious Fasig-Tipton November Sale, Darby Dan Sales was represented by the highest-priced racing prospect when the brilliant 3-year-old filly Taris sold for $2,350,000. Earlier in the sale, that price was topped by one of Darby Dan's broodmares from one of the farm's leading foundating families. La Cloche, a young graded stakes-winning daughter of Memories of Silver, sold for $2,400,000 in foal to leading sire Tapit. It was the fourth-highest mare in foal among the best collection of breeding stock offered at a single sale in 2014.

In 2015, foals from the first crop of Darby Dan stallions Jersey Town and Shackleford were highly sought after at the Keeneland and Saratoga Yearling sales, while Darby Dan's young sire Tale of Ekati continued to show strong sales results as well, including a $350,000 colt at the OBS March 2-year-olds sale.  

In the auction ring in 2016, Darby Dan Farm sold a Medaglia d'Oro colt out of the stakes-winning and graded stakes-placed mare Ellie's Moment, by Kris S., to Kempton/Berkelhammer, agent for Albaugh Family Stable for $500,000 at Keeneland September. Bred by Phillips Racing Partnership and Darley, the colt is a half-brother to Phillips Racing Partnership homebred Time and Motion, winner of the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) at Keeneland and Saratoga's Lake Placid S. (G2) in 2016. 
At Darby Dan our commitment to our clients commences long before each horse is offered at public auction. We truly enjoy the process of being involved from the earliest stages. With the ability to provide both insight and assistance in producing the highest quality individual so that each horse maximizes its potential. We are pleased to provide clients with continuous reports on their bloodstock holdings throughout the year as a result of farm inspections. From those inspections we are able to give current valuations, along with advice on where and which sale will best suit each individual. Including securing the appropriate book placement, to allow your horse to reach its desired market. The long standing history of Darby Dan, partnered with our reputation means both our clients and their bloodstock are represented at the highest level.
