Gone Glimmering and Tap That Spot both rolled to open length victories in Friday maiden races.

Tapiture now has nine overall winners from his first crop, which puts him atop the 2019 Freshman Sires list. He also already has a pair of repeat winners, including Saratoga's $100,000 Rick Violette S. winner Sky of Hook.

in her career bow Friday at Indiana Downs, Gone Glimmering captured the 5 1/2-furlong race with a dominating stretch run. Coming from just off the early pace, Gone Glimmering made a four-wide move to sweep to the lead, then drew off in the stretch to win by four lengths on the fast main track.

The winner is owned by Sandra New and Aaron Haberman and was bred by Amy Boulton.

Later in the evening, Tap That Spot was a 4 ½-length winner at the same distance at Emerald Downs, winning on the front end.

Tap That Spot in owned by How We Roll #10 and bred by Ron & Nina Hagen and Ron Crockett. The filly's dam Spot On Babe is a sister to stakes winners Show Me the Mints and Century Union.
