Darby Dan stallion Suave, whose first crop are 2-year-olds of 2010, was represented by his first juvenile at auction in 2010 when a colt brought $70,000 at the Barretts March selected sale. The final price was more than five times Suave's 2010 stud fee of $12,500.
Hip No. 15, a bay like his father, was consigned by BC3 Thoroughbreds and purchased by K. Maeda. The colt is out of Our Resurgence and a half-brother to True Resurgence, who was third in Aqueduct's Stymie H. Our Resurgence has four stakes winning/placed siblings, and the family includes Graeme Six, second in the Prioress (G1).
The strapping colt worked a lively 1/8 mile in :10 1/5 seconds. Click here to see a video of the workout.
