The top winning bid came for hip No. 109, a colt consigned by Gainesway, agent for Graves et al, which went for $340,000 to Mark Hennig, agent. The colt is a half-brother to stakes winner Mr Palmer and comes from the same female family as millionaires Behrens, Commentator and Cowboy Cal.

Hip No. 200, consigned by Taylor Made, went to Gary Broad for $190,000. The chestnut colt is the first foal out of the Flatter mare Spanish Post.

Hip No. 189, a filly offered by Machmer Hall, brought a winning bid of $120,000 from Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds. The filly comes from the same family as graded winner and sire Trappe Shot and FrontRunner S. (G1) winner Power Broker.

Shackleford, who stood this year at Darby Dan Farm for $20,000, will be represented by 5 lots at the Aug. 15-16 Saratoga New York Bred Preferred Yearlings sale and 53 lots in the upcoming Keeneland September Yearling sale.
