A pair of 2-year-olds from the first crop of Dialed In topped the six-figure mark at the recently concluded Barretts Select 2-year-olds in Training sale held at Del Mar.

Leading the way was hip No. 129, a colt consigned by Wavertree Stables and purchased for $120,000 by Joe Herrick, agent. The colt is out of the Hard Spun mare Hard to Know, who is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Megans Bluff, the dam of Grade 3 winner Elusive Bluff.

Earlier in the session, hip No. 33, a filly consigned by Excel Bloodstock, went to Rockingham Ranch for $110,000. The Kentucky-bred's dam Fall Fantasy has produced five winners to date and hails from the same family as graded stakes winners Patches, Red Attack and La Spia.

Dialed In's average sale price thus far during the 2-year-old sales season is $124,400, more than 16 times his 2016 stud fee.
