Suave added to his growing list of winners on Nov. 4 with Shoefly Shoefly, who was too much for a full field of 2-year-olds going 1 mile and 70 yards at Remington Park, winning by a widening three lengths with a powerful closing kick.

The bay Shoefly Shoefly was making his debut under the lights at Remington. Despite being hung wide after breaking from the far outside, and continuing four wide on the second turn, the Kentucky bred rolled past the field for the easy victory.

Darby Dan sold Shoefly Shoefly at the 2009 Keeneland September yearling sale. He the first foal out of Iyieldtonoone, a sister to multiple Grade 3 winner Pacific Fleet and listed winner Siberian Mirage.
