Shacklefords Storm dominated a Prairie Meadows maiden special weight field on Thursday evening, splashing to a front-running four-length victory over a sloppy racetrack.

With four winners from his first seven starters, Shackleford's first crop has got off to an exceptional start. He is currently ranked sixth on the Freshman Sire list by progeny earnings and tied for the top spot by winners.

Shacklefords Storm owned by William McCarty, who purchased the dark bay at the OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in April. The Kentucky-bred is out of Tourism, who is a half-sister to Peter Pan S. (G2) winner Sightseeing.
