Shacklefords Lady turned in another dominating performance in her second lifetime start Feb. 23 at Penn National, winning a six-furlong allowance by a widening 7 1/2-lengths under a hand ride in 1:10.54 (VIDEO).

The now 3-year-old daughter of Shackleford made her debut exactly two months ago, when she won at at the same distance by 5 1/2-lengths in a sparkling unveiling.

With a dozen winners to date, Shackleford and progeny earnings topping $370,000, Shackleford ranks first on the 2017 Second-Crop Sire list.

Shacklefords Lady was bred in Florida by John and Carole Rio & Michael and Dr. Laura Sivo. She is the second foal out of the stakes-placed Dixieland Bull, who also has a 2-year-old colt by Shackleford.
