Danuska's My Girl wired the field in Sunday's $100,000 Rancho Bernardo H. (G3) to pick up her third graded stakes win of the year and her fifth overall win in six starts dating back to last November.

Breaking from the outside in the field of nine, Danuska's My Girl made the lead and angled over to the fence through a quarter-mile in :22.27. Up by a half-length at the top of the stretch, the eventual winner opened up by two lengths in mid-stretch, then held off Anonymity to win by a half-length in 1:17.13 for the 6 1/2-furlongs.

"Congratulations to the owners and to trainer Jerry Hollendorfer. She felt great all the way," jockey Geovanni Franco said. "She broke so sharp and then she slowed it down for me that second quarter. I knew someone was coming late (favorite Anonymity), but it didn't matter.”

With wins in the Desert Stormer S. (G3) and Las Flores S. (G3) already on her resume, Danuska's My Girl is now 6-2-4 in 16 starts and has earned $330,810 for Bad Boy Racing LLC.

Bred in Kentucky by Fernandez-Robles Family Trust and Flying H Stables, the winner is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Vieja Luna.

A leading sire each of his three prior seasons, Shackleford is once again at or near the top of this year's Fourth-Crop Sire list by graded winners, winners and progeny earnings.
