Wouldn'tbeprudent found the winner's circle Feb. 8 at Penn National with a game neck victory in a one mile and 70 yard maiden special weight contest, the first time at the distance for the 3-year-old son of Shackleford.

After getting 19 winners from his first crop in 2016, Shackleford's runners have been on a tear in 2017, chalking up seven wins to date, putting the Darby Dan stallion in the top five on the Second-Crop Sire list.

Wouldn'tbeprudent is the third winner from four foals out of Lovely Reward, who is a sister to multiple stakes winners Lovely Afternoon and With Patience.
