Love My Honey, a $155,000 OBS 2-year-old sales grad in April, sped to a 1 1/4-length victory in her career unveiling on Sunday at Saratoga in a six-furlong maiden special weight affair on the main track (VIDEO).

Bred by Paul Knapper and Darby Dan Farm, the Shackleford filly is out of A J's Honey, the dam of stakes winners Honey's Sox Appeal and Happy Hour Honey.

Shackleford had a brilliant weekend at Saratoga, with the 3-year-old colt Promises Fulfilled winning Saturday's Amsterdam S. (G3) for his second graded stakes win of the year.

Love My Honey got a very confident ride from Irad Ortiz, Jr. poised on the outside just off the leaders for the first half-mile, Ortiz took a few looks back as the filly went to the lead in upper stretch. She edged clear in the final furlong under a hand ride by Ortiz, stopping the clock in 1:10.99.

Love My Honey picked up $46,750 in victory for Three Diamonds Farm.
