Laney took her second consecutive allowance race on Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs with a nose victory over pacesetter Jumby Bay.

The 3-year-old daughter of Shackleford is one of 13 winners this year by her sire, who leads all Second-Crop Sires by winners and is second on the list by progeny earnings to only fellow Darby Dan stallion Dialed In.

Laney has won three of her seven starts for owner Joseph Sutton. She was bred in Kentucky by Vincent Colbert and is the second foal out of the Indian Charlie mare Croon.
