A filly from the first crop of Shackleford turned in the co-fastest 1/8-mile breeze during the Monday Under Tack session of the OBS 2016 March Sale of Two Year Olds in Training.

The chestnut filly, hip No. 29 consigned by Ciaran Dunne’s Wavertree Stables, is out of Into Reality, a stakes-winner who has also produced the stakes winner Meadowood.

The Kentucky-bred filly, who covered the furlong in :09 4/5 seconds, will sell during the first session of the March 15-16 sale.

Shackleford’s other filly to breeze on Monday, hip No. 110 consigned by Kings Equine, went :10 2/5 seconds. The bay filly’s third dam is multiple Grade 1 winner Maplejinsky, dam of champion older mare Sky Beauty.

Shackleford, who was a top-10 yearling sire by average in 2015, has a total of 11 entries in next week’s auction.
