Dream It Is followed up her sharp May 27 maiden special weight score with an even more impressive victory in Saturday's $100,000 My Dear S. at Woodbine, winning by 4 3/4-lengths to up the 2-year-old Shackleford's filly to 2-for-2.

Shackleford has a total of 35 winners this year, second-most for any Second-Crop sire in 2017.  His six seven stakes horses this year include Rebel S. (G2) winner Malagacy, multiple stakes-placed Laney, and Meantime, runner-up in the recent Peter Pan S. (G3).

Dream It Is exerted her authority in the blink of the eye at the top of the Woodbine stretch after stalking just outside of Obsolete for three furlongs, drawing off under a hand ride from Luis Contreras.

The final time for the five furlongs was :57.74.

“She did it pretty easy,” said Contreras. “Last time she broke really sharp and went to the lead. This time I got her to relax a little bit. It’s great to ride horses like this.”

Dream It Is is trained by Barbara Minshall for Hoolie Racing Stable LLC and has earned $72,447 in her two victories. The winner was bred in Kentucky by Chiyoda Farm.
