A win by Seeking the Soul in Saturday's $1 million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) would give his sire the unique distinction of having two Breeders' Cup winners from as many starters.

Perfect Soul's first Breeders' Cup starter, Perfect Shirl, captured the 2011 Filly and Mare Turf (G1).

Like Perfect Shirl, Seeking the Soul is a Charles Fipke homebred. The 5-year-old has a particular affinity for Churchill Downs, winning last year's Clark H. (G1) and most recently the Ack Ack S. (G3) on Sept. 29. Brian Hernandez, Jr., who has a Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) win on his resume, will ride Seeking the Soul on Saturday.  He drew post 6 in the 10 horse field.

Seeking the Soul, trained by Dallas Stewart, is one of two millionaires by Perfect Soul.

The Dirt Mile, race five on Saturday, will run at 1:16 p.m. ET.
