Go Lady Jay proved her blowout win last time out was no fluke with a front-running score in Saturday's $50,000 Purple Violet S. at Arlington Park.

The 3-year-old daughter of Run Away and Hide romped to a 13 1/2-length allowance win on April 30, and as she did in that race, she went right to the lead in the one-mile Purple Violet, never letting her foes within a length at any point, ultimately winning by 1 1/4-lengths.

The winner is trained by Bradlee Rainwater for owner/breeder John Truscott.

Besides Go Lady Jay, Run Away and Hide is represented by 2016 stakes winners Are You Kidding Me, winner of the Grade 2 Eclipse S. and Dahlia S. winner Seeking Treasure.
