A colt by Run Away and Hide flew through an eighth in :9 3/5, the fastest work at the distance at the third session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s April 22-25 Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training. A video of the breeze can be seen here (enter 860 in the search box). The Kentucky-bred juvenile will sell on April 24.

Consigned by Old South Farm, Agent as hip No. 860, the bay colt is out of Regal Bird, by Grand Slam, a half sister to graded stakes placed Ghost Ring. The family also includes Canadian 2-year-old champion Bayford and Louisiana Derby (G2) winner Kimberlite Pipe.

Run Away and Hide's first foals are 3-year-olds of 2013. His first crop included the graded stakes horse Are You Kidding Me, which helped propel him to a top-10 ranking on the final 2012 Freshman Sire list. He is standing this year at Darby Dan for $5,000 LFS&N.
