Perfect Wedding, a 3-year-old filly by Perfect Soul, claimed her second straight win on Oct. 26th when she stretched out around two turns for the first time and won a $41,000 allowance race at the Meadowlands.

The 2 ½-length front-running win came fresh off an impressive maiden win sprinting at Monmouth last month. She earned a promising 81 Beyer for the performance after completing a mile and 70 yards in 1:40.81 over a fast local maintrack.

Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, Perfect Wedding is now two-for-three in her young career and has earnings of $51,960 for owner Harvey Clarke. Bred by Christine Hansen and Charles Fipke from the Prized mare Spring Wedding, the 3-year-old bay filly was a $30,000 yearling purchase at Keeneland September.

Also Monday, another 3-year-old filly by Perfect Soul – Music for the Soul – captured her second lifetime win when streaking to a 9 ¼-length victory at Beulah Park.
