The Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society (Ontario Division) sale was led by Darby Dan Farm stallion Perfect Soul who topped the sale with a colt purchased for $170,000. The colt, a half brother to Del Mar Oaks (G1) winner Internallyflawless and a full brother to 2013 winner Seekingthediamond, was bought by Cudney Stables and partner. Richard Hogan consigned the colt for the breeder Charles Fipke.

Perfect Soul, who stood the 2013 for $7,500 LFS&N at Darby Dan, is the sire of 2013 Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up Golden Soul.
