Dialed In's graded stakes winner Ms Locust Point chalked up her fifth career stakes win April 20 at Laurel Park with a gate-to-wire score in the $100,000 Primonetta S.

Winner of last year's Barbara Fritchie S. (G2), Ms Locust Point sports an excellent 9-2-1 record from 16 starts, while earning $612,435 for co-owners Jim Reichenberg and Cash is King Stable.

Nearly all nine of the distaffers broke together at the start of Saturday's six-furlong contest before Ms Locust Point pulled clear in the first furlong. The 5-year-old mare zipped through a half-mile in :45.09 and opened up by three lengths in mid-stretch. Cairenn closed stoutly in the final strides to make it close, but Ms Locust Point dug in to win by a nose in 1:10.11.

“She’s quick. I just let her go along and she had enough left to win the race,” said Jorge Vargas, Jr.. “She kept going. I was confident.”

Bred by Leslie Campion, Ms Locust Point is one of Dialed In's five stakes horses this year. His leading runner this year, Gunnevera, was third in the Dubai World Cup (G1).
