Montu became Dialed In's third 3-year-old stakes winner of 2017 when the colt tallied a 1 1/4-length victory in the $100,000 Rushaway S. on Saturday afternoon at Turfway Park.

Montu was never headed in the 1 1/16-mile contest, with Cool Arrow providing pressure for the first six furlongs, then longshot Capture the Glory taking up chase in the stretch. Montu shook them all off to take the race in 1:44.85 on the fast track.

The winner is trained by Joe Deegan, who co-owns the dark bay with Alfred Pais and Zephyr Racing. Bred in Kentucky by Ladyswell Bloodstock, the colt's dam Casa Pippo is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Bay to Bay.

Dialed In leads all Second-Crop sires by stakes winners and stakes wins and is third on the list by progeny earnings.
