Little Face proved too much for her foes Dec. 28 at Fair Grounds, drawing clear for an 8 1/4-length maiden win. The 2-year-old Magna Graduate filly is the ninth winner for the Darby Dan freshman sire, whose first crop includes the undefeated filly Blueeyesintherein, winner of Churchill Downs' Grade 3 Debutante S.

Magna Graduate will stand the 2013 season at Darby Dan for $5,000 LFS&N.

Little Face made her winning move about half-way through the 1 mile and 70 yard contest, coming from third to get the lead after six furlongs, then pulling away quickly in the stretch for the comfortable win.

The winner, bred in Louisiana by Jody Huckabay, is the first starter out of No Warning, who is a half-sister to the multiple stakes winner and half-million dollar earner Rapid Proof.
