Magine moves Tapiture to top of First-Crop winner’s list

Magine’s 4 3/4-length maiden win on Sept. 13 gave Tapiture a total of 13 winners, making him the leading First-Crop Sire of 2019 by winners, surpassing notables American Pharoah, Palace Malice and Constitution.

Magine did it easily in her six-furlong win, taking over in the first three furlongs and widening her lead all the way to the wire to win with plenty in reserve.

The winner is owned by Michael and William Harris and bred by Whitewood Farm. Out of Harmony Creator, Magine is a half-sister to three-time stakes winner Architecture.
