KY Derby winner shares unique link with Ambassador

Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Animal Kingdom shares a unique link with Darby Dan’s young Group-winning stallion Ambassador (Ger).
 
Ambassador is the only stallion at stud in North America by the four-time leading German Sire Acatenango. Animal Kingdom is out of a Group-winning mare by Acatenango. Both Ambassador and the dam of Animal Kingdom, won their Group races in Germany over a distance of ground, Ambassador at 10.93 furlongs and Animal Kingdom’s dam at 9.94 furlongs.
 
By Acatenango out of After Eight Blues, by Bold Ruckus, Ambassador bred just a few mares in a test crop in 2010. These first foals are now arriving, and have outstanding substance and excellent bone.
 
An outstanding proven outcross, Ambassador is standing the 2011 season for private treaty, property of Mr. and Mrs. John M.B. O’Connor.
