Uplifting turned back a trio of challengers to get his maiden special weight win Saturday at Parx, winning by three-quarters of a length to secure the victory (VIDEO).

Bred in Kentucky by Denali Stud, Uplifting sold for $185,000 at the 2015 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearlings sale. Uplifting is one of four winners out of Encouragement, who is a half-sister to Santa Monica H. (G1) winner Key Phrase.

Jersey Town, who was bred to his biggest crop of mares to date in 2016, is available this year at Darby Dan Farm for $5,000 live foal stands and nurses as well as part of the farm's Breed-Secure program.
