Nobiz Like Shobiz, Grade 1 winner of the Wood Memorial, sired his first foal on Jan. 27 when a bay filly was born at Haymarket Farm just outside of Louisville.

The filly is out of the stakes-winning and stakes-producing Summing mare Rachele’sprincess.

The 6-year-old Nobiz Like Shobiz was a leading 2-year-old of 2006 after capturing the Remsen S. (G2) at Aqueduct. At three, he was victorious in two Kentucky Derby preps – the Holy Bull (G3) along with the Wood – and won three graded stakes on the turf later in the year before retiring to stud as a six-time graded stakes winner with earnings of $1,544,730.

Nobiz Like Shobiz will stand his second season at Darby Dan Farm for a reduced fee of $2,500 stands and nurses.
