The first reported foal sired by Grade II winner Suave is a colt born Jan. 8 at Donna Wormser’s farm in Ocala, Fla. Bred by Wormser, the colt is the first foal for the 5-year-old mare Happy Valentine, whose dam is a half sister to millionaire and GI winner Jolie’s Halo. Suave set the track record at Arlington Park while on his way to victory in the GII Washington Park Handicap in 2006. He retired with $1,348,423 in earnings. A 7-year-old son of A. P. Indy out of the multiple GI winning Citidancer mare Urbane, Suave stands at Darby Dan Farm in Lexington, KY. Suave’s 2008 fee is $17,500.
