Dialed In's Ruffenuff undefeated in two stakes starts

Ruffenuff, who broke her maiden in the Princess Margaret S. in mid-July, got her second stakes win on Labor Day when the 2-year-old Dialed In filly rolled to a 12 1/4-length victory in the $50,000 Bird of Pay S. at Northlands Park.

There was little drama in the 6 1/2-furlong affair, with Ruffenuff confidently ridden throughout, easily pulling clear from the early challenge from Tidal Mist to draw off with authority.

Ruffenuff was bred in Kentucky by Nicholas Lotz and is owned by Curtis Landry and Red Diamond Stable. Her dam Augusta Queen is a sister to a pair of multiple stakes winners.

Dialed In is the leading First-Crop Sire of 2016 with progeny earnings nearing $500,000. His seven winners are led by Gunnevera, winner of the $200,000 Saratoga Special (G2).
