Dialed In solidified his ranking as the Top Freshman Sire of 2016 on New Year's Eve when Ms Locust Point scored a very sharp-looking victory in the $100,000 Gin Talking S. by 4 ¼ lengths at Laurel Park.

Ms Locust Point joined Gunnevera, winner of the Saratoga Special S. (G2) and Delta Downs Jackpot (G3) and multiple stakes winner Ruffenuff as 2016 black-type winners for her sire.  Dialed In finished the year with 19 winners of $1,565,627.

Making her stakes and Maryland debut, Ms Locust Point broke running and was never threatened at any point of the seven-furlong trip. Setting fractions of :22.67, :45.62 and 1:09.77, she finished up the distance in 1:22.43.

“I just got her out there and she did the rest,” jockey Jorge Vargas, Jr. said. “John (trainer John Servis) had her ready. We did not have any trouble in the race, and I think that she can go a lot further.”

Jim Reichenberg and Bruno De Julio own the chestnut filly, who has won two of her three starts and has now earned $105,000. Ms Locust Point was bred in Kentucky by Lesley Campion.
