Patrona saved her best running for the final three furlongs of her maiden win Sunday at Gulfstream Park, coming from 11th midway through the 7 1/2-furlong contest to win going away by three lengths.

Patrona is the 18th overall winner from the first crop of Dialed In, the nation's leading Freshman Sire with such stellar runners as Saratoga Special (G2) and Delta Jackpot S. (G3) Gunnevera and the multiple stakes winner Ruffenuff.

Patrona was bred by Milfer Farms Inc. and is owned by Carlos Munoz.
