An Afleet Alex filly consigned by Darby Dan Farm, agent, was the highest-priced filly sold on Day Three of the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearling Sale.

Hip 1020 sold to Bo Hunt, agent for $105,000, second high-price of any yearling in the session. The filly was bred in Kentucky by John Trumbulovic, and is just the second foal from the young Forestry mare, Summer Forest. Her next four dams are all stakes producers.

The filly significantly out-performed the session and sale average, which were $12,210 and $13,616 respectively. Darby Dan is one of the nation’s leading consignors this year, with 23 stakes horses from sales consignments.
