Six-year-old Cryptolight continues to shine in a racing career that is now into its fifth year. Born and raised at Darby Dan, Cryptolight has been a model of consistency over his 36-race career, racking up an 8-10-9 record and earning $358,320.

The bay horse was most recently third in the Fifth Season S. at Oaklawn Park on Apr. 8. Remarkably, he has been worse than third only twice in 2009-2010. The span includes a victory in the 2009 Fall S. at Mountaineer Park. His stellar career record should come as no surprise when looking at his dam Crypto's Redjet, who won 17 of her 39 starts, including eight stakes wins.

Cryptolight was consigned and sold by Darby Dan for $20,000 at the 2005 Keeneland September yearling sale. He was purchased by Dr. Paul Gutheil and Ronald DeWolf, who bred him and are also his current owners.
