Another big weekend for Darby Dan, as the farm had their hand in winners at Delaware Park, Monmouth, and Woodbine, as well as another stakes horse at Churchill Downs.

Aliyah made it two wins in a row with a 3/4-length victory in a six furlong allowance race at Delaware Park. The 3-year-old filly was bred, born, raised and sold by Darby Dan. She is by Maria's Mon out of Merit Wings. The mare has produced four foals to race, all of whom are winners. Merit Wings was a two-time stakes winner, taking the Sands Point H. and Suffolk County S., earning $163,809 in an 11-race career.  Aliyah was consigned and sold by Darby Dan at the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale, where she was purchased by Donver Stables for $130,000. Her race record now stands at 2-1-0 in three starts, with earnings of $56,800.

At Churchill Downs in the $113,800 Louisville H. (G3), Bearpath was a fast-closing second in the 12-furlong turf marathon. Darby Dan consigned Bearpath as agent for breeder Whisper Hill Farm, to the 2007 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, where he sold for $170,000. Bred in Kentucky and out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Song ‘n Silk, Bearpath won the Grade 3 Pan American over the Gulfstream Park lawn; he has now earned $206,824.

Winaholic was a winner on day two of the Monmouth Park summer meet, taking a 1 mile and 70 yard maiden race by a widening 2 1/4-lengths in just his second lifetime start. Born and raised at Darby Dan, Winaholic was consigned and sold at the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale, where he was purchased by Repole Stables for $210,000. He is out of the unraced mare Bridal Memories, a daughter of Memories of Silver, a multiple Grade 1 winner who was off the board only twice in 19 career starts.

North of the border at Woodbine, Impossible Time scored by 2 1/4-lengths in the $126,200 Ballade S. in a quick 1:08 3/5 for the six furlongs, earning a lifetime-best Beyer Speed Figure of 90 for her first stakes victory. The 5-year-old mare was raised at Darby Dan for breeder/owner Charles Fipke. She has won five of her lifetime starts, and earned $239,953.
