Dialed In's multiple graded stakes-placed filly Chalon returned from a six-month break on Saturday and came away with a one-length win in the $100,000 Primonetta S. at Laurel Park.

Now trained by Arnaud Delacour, Chalon battled with Your Pace or Mine for the first half-mile, then pulled clear in the stretch, comfortably holding off Cairenn in the final furlong to get the six panels in a quick 1:09.44.

“She’s a nice filly,” winning jockey Paco Lopez said. “I rode her a couple times before and she ran a couple of strong races. Today she was a little aggressive but I waited to let her go, and she’s very nice. The trainer did a nice job with her and she came back very good.”

Chalon's 2018 return comes after a very productive 2017, when she won the $150,000 Jersey Girl S. and placed in both the Raven Run S. (G2) and Thoroughbred Club of America (G2), both at Keeneland. Her record now stands at 4-2-1 in nine starts, with earnings of $352,295.

The winner is owned by Lael Stables and was bred in Kentucky by J. K. and Linda Griggs.

Dialed In is currently the leading Third Crop Sire in North America with more than $2.1 million in progeny earnings.
