For the second time in as many years Are You Kidding Me was named Canada's Champion Older Male at the Sovereign Awards ceremony on April 24.

Campaigning as a 6-year-old in 2016, the son of Run Away and Hide won three graded stakes – the Eclipse S. (G2), Autumn S. (G2) and Durham Cup (G3) and was also graded place twice in his eight starts.

Owned by his breeders John Bates, Ron Kirk and Mike Riordan, Are You Kidding Me has earned 4986,852, making him the all-time leading earner for his sire.

Are You Kidding Me hasn't started since last November, but has been working steadily since late January as he prepares for his 2017 campaign.
